The tech industry is experiencing a world-wide shortage of technology parts. These parts include base components in nearly all technologies from you encounter on a daily basis. In a recent Forbes article on the semiconductor shortages, Forbes noted how we much we rely on these technologies in everything from cell phones, laptops and washing machines to refrigerators, cars and airplanes.

What this means to UCO and you.

Institutional and personal technology purchases are being delayed. The Central Tech Store is still taking orders and making every effort to fulfill them as timely as possible. However, please be aware that delays are industry-wide and outside of the university’s control.
